30s digital campaign for Displate – a brand producing metal posters.
The idea was to capture the atmosphere that enters a space the moment you install one of the new pieces from the Lumino line – self-lit, multilayered aluminum prints that shift the feeling of the room.
Visually, we treated light as a narrative element, letting it subtly transform the environment and guide the viewer’s attention.
We agreed with the director that a studio setup was the right approach, as the concept relied on a long, controlled dolly move starting from the wall. We built a minimal but technically precise set to make that movement possible, while leaving space for the VFX team to extend the effect.
All lighting units were controlled from a grandMA console, which allowed us to program and precisely time the smooth lighting transitions throughout the shot.
