Lukasz Dryzalowski

I am a Warsaw-based Director of Photography with a unique background that blends cinematic artistry with advanced technical expertise. Currently honing my craft at the National Film School in Łódź, I also hold a degree in Digital Film Production from Ravensbourne University London and another one in Mechatronics of Heavy Machinery from the Warsaw University of Technology.

This rare combination of film education and engineering allows me to navigate the most complex technical sets with ease, ensuring that the creative vision is always backed by flawless execution.

Experience & Highlights:

  • Commercial & International: I’ve collaborated with numerous international brands, bringing a global perspective to local productions in Poland, the UK, and beyond.

  • Netflix Success: In 2023, I served as Director of Photography for the true-crime series "The Case of Iwona Wieczorek," which became Netflix’s #1 daily-viewed title.

  • Feature Film: I served as the 2nd Unit Director of Photography for the feature film "Alpha Male" (2022).

  • Creative Collective: I am a co-founder of Metamodern Club, an independent creative collective focused on pushing narrative boundaries.

My Approach: I believe that great cinematography is rooted in effective communication and collaboration. My journey from analog photography to high-end digital production has taught me to value the soul of the image as much as the technology behind it. Whether it's a fast-paced commercial or a long-form documentary, I am dedicated to fostering a professional environment where the story always comes first.
